It gives your account credibility and boosts your chances to be an Influencer but using dodgy tactics like buying followers and using chatbots to like and comment will see you sent to the Instagram naughty corner.   1. Engage with your followers

    Dedicate time every day to looking through your newsfeed. Like comments, answer questions and interact with your followers.

    There’s nothing wrong with shameless promotion occasionally, but if you keep pushing followers to BUY BUY BUY, then you’re to bore them to tears. We get on social media to be entertained and informed. There are subtle ways to promote your product without becoming a pushy sales type.

    When your users tag you in a post, this is one of the easiest ways to get content without really doing any hard work. Generally, your followers will appreciate having their posts shared, but don’t forget to give credit where credit is due.

  8. Use marketing strategies outside of Instagram

    Link your website to your Instagram and include your handle on all correspondence, TV and press advertisements, business cards etc.
